Hey Ya'll! it's been a while but I am here to bring you some of NYFW at your finger tips. When thinking about covering street style trends, I wanted to cover the trends in a way that can be obtainable since for many of us, our budgets for our wardrobe aren't the largest. Hi Fam! I know it's been a while but the past couple of months have been super busy with work, travel 🌴and collaborations. Nonetheless, I have been working on this project for quite some time and it's finally ready for the world 🌍to see! When asked a couple of months ago at the 21buttons x INSPR workshop what made me special and what my friends go to me to advice for, the answer was almost like word vomit to me. Truth be told, I almost never wear the same outfit twice as there are literally hundreds of ways to style an outfit to make it look different from the original (hence the origin of this project). One of the biggest things I hope to offer ya'll is inspiration of how to style statement pieces that you wouldn't necessarily think of!

My recent thrift finds- making someones garbage your treasure

I have been a hardcore thrift-er ever since high school. When I was living at home, it was harder to go to thrift shops since at the time people still viewed thrifting as "dirty". I often had to lie about what I was bringing home and say "that my friends gave me clothing" or that "I bought the items in a boutique", which was never the case. When I got to college, if you knew me well enough my favorite place to go downtown from campus was the Salvo (that's what everyone in Oneonta called the Salvation Army Store). I think on a good week I would go twice a week downtown and hit all of the thrift stores looking for a find.

This is one of my absolute favorite holidays since I have been celebrating it with my favorite human😻for the last 8 years...and of course now the cat. MY 2019 NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS

2018 was a crazy year for me with a lot of ups and downs and turn arounds, so needless to say I was ready for some change. I am welcoming 2019 in with open arms! This season, since Alec and I are saving up to move to the UES, "recycling" last season’s pieces for this trendy Fall has been tricky but has become an exciting game for me.
